What began over 25 years ago as a home building and construction company, has become an industry leading group of skilled professionals, focused on delivering the best possible experience for our customers. We lead our market in two areas: the design-development of commercial strip centers and a division that’s dedicated to multi-family construction. Our focus may have changed over the years but our CORE principles are the same as they were decades earlier: we believe in building relationships to better the communities around us. We promote these values of Integrity, Excellence, Communication, Commitment and Respect to deliver a greater overall customer experience.

Our Founder Joe Casey, has spent over 30 years serving the construction industry and continues to lead our team to improve our processes and seek out new and better ways of serving our clients and our community.

Based in Tampa, Florida, our team travels all over the state for select clients and we serve our local communities in Pinellas County, Hillsborough County, Pasco County, Manatee County, Sarasota County and Hernando County.

Joe Casey is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker and Florida Certified General Contractor. Joe previously lead Vantage Construction as Vice President and has over 30 years industry experience in acquisition, construction management and development. He leads CORE GROUP as our Managing Partner.

Tom Richmond is a seasoned business executive, former owner of Little Tikes, former CEO of Basanite and a well established figure in the local Tampa Bay business community. Tom leads CORE GROUP as our CFO.

Don Powell is a real estate broker and real estate development specialist. He has been actively involved in negotiating real estate acquisition and development contracts for over a decade and serves as VP of Business Development. Don leads land acquisition and mixed-use development for CORE GROUP.
