About Us – CORE DEVELOPMENT

What began over 20 years ago as a home building and remodeling company, has become a group of skilled professionals, focused on constructing and developing commercial real estate for banking, retail, medical and light industrial use. We lead our market in two areas: the design-development of commercial strip centers and a division that’s dedicated to multi-family construction. Our focus may have changed over the years but our CORE principles are the same as they were decades earlier: we believe in building relationships to better the communities around us. We promote these values of Integrity, Excellence, Communication, Commitment and Respect to deliver a greater overall customer experience to our clients.

Our Founder Joe Casey, has spent over 30 years serving the construction industry and continues to lead our team to improve our processes and seek out new and better ways of serving our clients and our community.

Joe Casey is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker BK3302449 and former California Licensed General Contractor. Joe headed Vantage Construction as Vice President and has over 30 years industry experience in acquisition, construction management and development. He leads CORE GROUP as our Managing Partner.

Jason Dutra has served as the Owner of Frameworx, Inc a residential builder and framing company in Tampa Florida. He served as Vice President of Lennar Homes and has constructed several thousand single family and multifamily units in his career. Jason is a Partner and heads up multifamily development at CORE GROUP.

Cory Sands previously had a successful career in the insurance industry before crossing over to the world of construction development. He recently served as Director of Operations for Frameworx, Inc. Cory serves as Partner and heads up Business Development for CORE GROUP.
